Fort Benton Rolled The First Round Playoff Game Over Arlee

Nathan Maughan scored three touchdowns and Derek Kittredge threw for two scores and ran for another as fifth-ranked Fort Benton rolled to a victory over Arlee in a first-round playoff game.

Maughan scored on runs of 10 and 35 yards and caught a 7-yard TD pass from Kittredge.

Kittredge also threw a 7-yard TD pass to Rley Shaw and scored on a 30-yard jaunt.

Shaw and Jackson Bramlette scored two TDs each for the Longhorns, who led 32-8 at the end of the first quarter and 56-16 at halftime.

Fort Benton had 308 yards of total offense, 241 coming on the ground.

Arlee (5-3) rushed for 58 yards and gained only two through the air.

The Warriors' Dylan Moran returned a kickoff 70 yards for a TD and score on a 2-yard run.


The Fourth Raked Fort Benton Longhorns will meet top-ranked Wibaux Longhorns in the quarterfinals on Saturday in Wibaux.
